The JEE study plan and daily routine that actually works
Most timetables are built backwards and die by Wednesday. A four-block day, a five-touch revision queue, and the error log that does the real work.

Almost every JEE aspirant has made a timetable. Colour-coded, hour by hour, usually on a Sunday evening, usually beautiful. Almost none of them survive past Wednesday.
The reason is not laziness. It is that most timetables are built backwards. They start from "I have fourteen hours, let me fill them" instead of "here is what the exam actually rewards, let me buy that with the hours I really have".
A plan that works has four properties, and every one of them is boring:

Five focused hours for a school student and nine to ten for a dropper is the real ceiling. Anyone claiming a sustained sixteen-hour day is either counting time spent sitting at a desk, or is three weeks from burning out.
Here is the part that matters. Five honest hours, held every day for three hundred days, is 1,500 hours — more than enough to clear JEE Main with a strong percentile. Students who fail do not fail because five hours was too little. They fail because they averaged two and told themselves it was eight.
Plan for your real number, then protect it.
Notice that LEARN goes to zero. By April there is nothing left to learn. If you are still learning new chapters in April, the plan failed in October.

Four rules make the grid work.
Touch all three subjects every single day. Not "Physics day, Chemistry day". Subject rotation prevents the classic disaster where Chemistry gets ignored for two months and then eats your December.
Never place two hard-thinking blocks back to back without a real break. Your problem-solving accuracy in hour four is measurably worse than in hour one, and unbroken sitting is why.
Study the subject you hate in your best hours, not your leftover hours. If Organic Chemistry frightens you, it belongs in the 17:00 slot, not at 22:30.
Write tomorrow's plan tonight. Ten minutes, three lines. Deciding what to study while sitting at the desk is how forty minutes disappear.
Two things about Sunday. Take the mock at the real exam time of day, in one sitting, without your phone, without breaks, without looking anything up. A mock taken in comfortable conditions measures nothing.
And the analysis is worth more than the mock. Three hours of honest analysis will move your score more than three more mocks will.
Five touches, roughly two and a half hours per chapter spread over months. There are around 90 chapters across the three subjects, so about 225 hours of revision across the year — which sounds enormous until you notice it is 45 minutes a day. It is the highest-value 45 minutes in your schedule.
Mechanically: keep a revision queue, one line per chapter with the five due dates. Every morning your REVISE block is whatever is due. No decisions required, which is the point.
One note on method. Rereading notes feels productive and is nearly worthless. Close the book, write down everything you remember about the chapter on a blank page, then open the book and mark what you missed. Uncomfortable, slower, and roughly three times as effective. Note what is missing: there is no LEARN block. By the Advanced phase, learning is over. If a chapter is genuinely unlearned in April, the correct decision is usually to write it off and defend your strengths instead.
- It fits the day you actually live, not the day you wish you lived.
- It allocates time by weakness, not by preference.
- It has revision built in as a default, not as a phase at the end.
- It produces a written record of your mistakes.
Know the shape of the paper first
You cannot design a routine without knowing what you are training for. Most students learn this properly in December, which is about eleven months too late.JEE Main, Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech)
- Mode — computer-based test, 3 hours
- Structure — 75 questions, 25 per subject. Section A has 20 multiple-choice questions, Section B has 5 numerical-value questions
- Marks — 300, with +4 correct, -1 incorrect, 0 unattempted
- Section B — numerical questions are compulsory and carry negative marking too. The old "attempt any 5 of 10" cushion is gone
- Time per question — about 2 minutes 24 seconds on average
- Attempts — two sessions a year, best score counts
JEE Advanced
- Mode — computer-based, two papers of 3 hours each, both compulsory, same day
- Marks — around 360 in total across both papers
- Question types — single correct, multiple correct, numerical answer, matching or list-match, paragraph-based
- Marking — varies by section. Multiple-correct questions typically carry partial marks with a penalty for wrong picks; numerical answer questions have often carried no penalty
- Pattern — deliberately not fixed. The organising IIT decides the structure each year and it is revealed in the on-screen instructions on exam day
- Eligibility — the top 2,50,000 qualified candidates in JEE Main Paper 1, distributed 40.5% OPEN, 27% OBC-NCL, 15% SC, 10% GEN-EWS and 7.5% ST, with 5% horizontal PwD reservation inside each
- Attempts — two, in consecutive years, subject to the official criteria
Part 1: the JEE Main routine
Step 1: do the arithmetic before the ambition

Step 2: the four-block day
Do not plan by subject. Plan by block type. Every study day, whatever its length, should contain four kinds of work, in this order of priority:- LEARN — new theory, worked examples, first-pass understanding
- PRACTISE — solving problems on what you learned recently
- REVISE — deliberate return to something you studied earlier
- TEST — timed section, chapter test, or full mock

Step 4: the error log, which is the whole game
If you take one thing from this article, take this. Keep one notebook. For every question you get wrong, anywhere, in practice or in a mock, write four things: the question or a short reference to it, the correct approach in one line, the date, and why you got it wrong, classified into exactly one of four buckets.- CONCEPT — I did not know or understand the underlying idea
- APPLICATION — I knew the concept but could not see how to use it here
- SILLY — calculation slip, misread question, sign error, unit error
- TIME — I could have solved it but ran out of time
- Mostly CONCEPT — stop practising. Go back and relearn the theory properly. More problems will not help you.
- Mostly APPLICATION — you need volume and variety on that specific topic. This is the good problem to have; it responds fastest to work.
- Mostly SILLY — this is not carelessness, it is a process failure, and it needs a process fix. Write every step, never skip algebra on paper, re-read the question after answering, and slow down by ten percent.
- Mostly TIME — your recall is too slow. Drill standard question types until the approach is automatic rather than derived.
Step 5: the spaced revision system
The default failure in JEE is not failing to learn. It is learning Rotational Motion in August and having no functional access to it in January. Fix it with a fixed schedule, applied to every chapter the day you finish it:| Touch | When | How long |

Step 6: train speed and accuracy separately
JEE Main gives you 144 seconds per question. Most students solve fine and score badly, because untimed accuracy does not convert into timed accuracy on its own. Daily speed set. Fifteen questions, thirty minutes, mixed chapters from what you have already covered. Every day. This is not learning time, it is conversion time. The 90-second rule. In any timed set, if you have not found the approach within 90 seconds, mark it and move on. Come back only if time remains. Learning to abandon a question is worth more marks than learning one more chapter. The three-pass method for the actual paper. Pass 1, sixty minutes: every question you can solve in under 90 seconds, sweeping the whole paper without getting stuck. Pass 2, eighty minutes: the marked medium questions, in order of confidence. Pass 3, forty minutes: the hard remainder, plus verification of Section B numericals where a sign or rounding slip is likely. Practise this in mocks, not for the first time in the exam hall — how to order the three hours goes deeper on pacing. The attempt arithmetic. With +4 and -1, a pure random guess between four options has an expected value of +0.25, which is technically positive and practically noise. If you can eliminate two options, guessing is clearly right. If you cannot eliminate any, leaving it blank is usually the better play, because "no idea" questions correlate with misreading. In Section B, where the answer space is not four options, never enter a number you have not derived. Accuracy target. Track attempted versus correct in every mock. Aiming for 85 to 90 percent accuracy on 60 attempted questions beats 65 percent accuracy on 75. Fewer, cleaner attempts is a strategy, not a compromise.Step 7: the twelve-month calendar
September to October 2026, coverage. Finish 60 percent of the Class 12 syllabus and audit Class 11. Physics: Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetism. Chemistry: Solutions, Electrochemistry, Kinetics, Haloalkanes, Alcohols. Maths: Continuity and Differentiability, Application of Derivatives, Integrals. One full mock every Sunday from week two, non-negotiable. Register for Session 1 as soon as the portal opens, and do not leave documents and photographs to the last week. November 2026, completion. Syllabus complete on paper, every chapter touched at least once. This is the month to kill backlogs. If a Class 11 chapter is still untouched, it gets scheduled now or it gets consciously abandoned. Both are decisions; pretending it will get done in January is not. LEARN drops to 20 percent. December 2026, consolidation. Convert coverage into scores. Two full mocks a week. Chapter-wise previous year questions for every chapter, all of them. Error log review every Sunday. Board practicals and pre-boards will eat time this month, so plan for it rather than being surprised by it. January 2027, Session 1. Peak, then attempt. Weeks 1 and 2: NCERT Physics and Chemistry cover to cover, formula sheets, error log only, and no new material of any kind. From week 3: mock, analyse, rest, repeat, with your sleep schedule shifted to match your exam shift at least ten days in advance. After the exam, that same evening, write down every question type that surprised you. That list is your February syllabus. February to March 2027, the fork in the road. This is where the two exams separate and where most students go wrong by continuing to do exactly what they did in December. If you cleared the Advanced cut-off comfortably in Session 1, Advanced is now the primary target and Session 2 is a percentile improvement exercise. If you did not, Session 2 is the priority and Advanced preparation waits. Boards happen here too; two to three weeks of board-focused revision is enough for a JEE-prepared student, and it overlaps heavily with the NCERT revision you needed anyway. April 2027, Session 2. Same protocol as January. If your Session 1 score was strong, do not risk overtraining here; protect the Advanced runway. May 2027, Advanced. Six to eight weeks of a genuinely different routine, which is the next section.Part 2: why JEE Advanced needs a different preparation
Here is the mistake, stated plainly. Thousands of students clear JEE Main comfortably, then prepare for Advanced by doing more of what worked for Main: more questions, faster, from the same books. They score poorly and cannot understand why, because their effort did not drop. The effort was fine. The training was for a different sport.The six real differences
1. Questions are multi-concept by design. A Main question typically tests one idea — apply the formula, get the answer. An Advanced question chains two, three, sometimes four: a rotational dynamics setup that resolves into an SHM equation, or an organic sequence where stereochemistry decides which of two plausible products forms. So knowing all 90 chapters individually is no longer sufficient. You need the connections between chapters, and connections are only built by solving problems that force them. Volume on single-concept questions never builds this. 2. Partial marking punishes half-knowledge precisely. Multiple-correct questions with partial marks are engineered to separate "I know three of four options" from "I know all four". Being 75 percent right is often worth much less than full marks, and one wrong selection can turn a positive into a negative. Your standard for "I understand this" has to rise: in Main, recognising the right answer is enough; in Advanced you must be able to say why each wrong option is wrong. 3. The pattern is deliberately unpredictable. The number of questions, the section structure and the marking scheme are decided by the organising IIT and disclosed on exam day. Some years bring list-match questions, some bring paragraph clusters, some change the negative marking rules entirely. Pattern familiarity, a genuine asset in Main, is nearly worthless here. What you need instead is format-agnostic problem solving and the composure to read fresh instructions in the first two minutes of the paper. Practise from Advanced papers across many different years precisely because they differ. 4. Time per question is three to four times longer. Main gives you about 144 seconds. Advanced can give you eight to twelve minutes and expects you to use them. A student trained purely for Main speed will read an Advanced question, fail to see the approach in 90 seconds, and abandon a problem they could have solved in six minutes. You have to deliberately retrain your patience, and it will feel wrong after six months of speed drilling, which is exactly why it needs explicit practice. 5. Depth instead of breadth, with different weights. Main rewards covering everything, because easy marks are spread thin across the whole syllabus and the theory-heavy NCERT corners give away free marks. Advanced concentrates on a smaller set of deep topics: Mechanics, Rotation, Electromagnetism and Modern Physics; Physical and Organic mechanisms; Calculus, Coordinate Geometry and Algebra. Inorganic factual recall matters less than Inorganic reasoning. Your topic allocation should change after Main rather than staying uniform. 6. Two three-hour papers in one day is an endurance event. Six hours of maximum-difficulty problem solving with a lunch gap in between. Paper 2 scores collapse for students who have never simulated the full day. Cognitive fatigue is real and it costs marks in exactly the questions that need care. From April onwards, at least three full simulations of both papers on the same day, at the real timings.What the Advanced routine actually looks like
Same total hours. Completely different internal structure. The deep block replaces the practice block. Instead of 25 questions in 90 minutes, six to eight questions in 90 minutes. Fewer problems, harder problems, full written solutions with every step justified. Nothing done in your head. The 20-minute no-hint rule. When you are stuck, you do not look at the solution for twenty minutes. You write down what is given, what is asked, which principles could apply, and what is blocking you. The value of an Advanced problem is almost entirely in those twenty minutes. Looking early converts a training exercise into reading. The re-solve protocol. When you do read a solution, close the book, wait a day, and solve it again from a blank page. If you cannot, you did not learn it, you recognised it. Recognition scores nothing in Advanced. The option audit. For every multiple-correct question, justify all four options in writing, not just the ones you selected. This single habit is the most direct preparation for Advanced marking that exists. One full Paper 1 plus Paper 2 day every week, from April. Real timings, real gap, no phone. Then a full day of analysis afterwards, which will be one of the more painful days of your year. A sample Advanced-phase day, post-Main, ten hours:| Time | What |

What not to do in the Advanced phase
- Do not start Irodov in April. A book that is too hard for your current level in your final weeks costs you confidence and time, both of which you need.
- Do not chase question volume. Two hundred hard problems solved properly beats two thousand skimmed. The metric is problems you can re-solve unaided, not problems you have seen.
- Do not neglect Chemistry because it felt easy in Main. Advanced Chemistry is where ranks are quietly won, because most students under-prepare it while over-preparing Physics.
- Do not skip mock analysis because the score was demoralising. A bad Advanced mock is information. An unanalysed bad mock is just a bad day.
- Do not change your sleep schedule for a final push. Sleep deprivation degrades exactly the reasoning capacity Advanced tests. This is not motivational advice, it is the mechanism by which the exam is scored.
Part 3: where AI genuinely helps
The limits first, because the AI conversation in JEE prep has become mostly noise. AI cannot do your reps. It cannot build your intuition, sit your exam, or convert your understanding into speed. The 1,500 hours are still yours to spend, and anyone selling a shortcut around the reps is selling a story. What it does do well is remove the three largest sources of waste in a self-directed preparation: not knowing what to study next, waiting for answers, and being unable to see your own weaknesses. Those three cost the average aspirant hundreds of hours a year. That is where the leverage is. Eight uses hold up, and each one comes with a limit. 1. Planning, and replanning when the plan breaks. The hard part of a study plan is not writing it, it is rewriting it on the Wednesday you fell behind, because that means resequencing dozens of dependent tasks against a fixed exam date. That is a scheduling problem, and software is genuinely good at it. What it will not do is make you sit down at 17:00. Give it your real available hours, not your fantasy hours: a plan built on twelve imaginary hours produces twelve hours of imaginary progress. 2. Doubt solving without the queue. The traditional cost of a doubt is not the doubt, it is the delay. You get stuck at 22:00 on Tuesday, ask on Thursday, and by then you have lost the thread and moved on with a hole in your understanding. Instant step-by-step solutions remove that delay, and that is a real structural improvement over how preparation worked five years ago. What it will not do is replace the twenty minutes of struggle that actually teaches you. Enforce your own delay: struggle first, on paper, for a fixed time, then ask, then close the solution and re-solve from scratch.A specific warning: AI-generated mathematics and physics is not infallible. Sign errors, unit slips and confidently wrong steps happen. Verify against the answer key, and treat anything that contradicts a standard textbook as suspect until you have checked it. This applies to every AI tool, including the good ones.3. Weakness diagnosis you cannot do yourself. This is the strongest case, and it is not obvious. You cannot see your own weak chapters accurately — not for lack of trying, but because the data is spread across twenty mocks, hundreds of practice questions and months of doubts, and because self-assessment is systematically biased toward the topics you enjoy. Students consistently believe their weak subject is the one they find unpleasant, which is often not the one costing them marks. A system that reads your whole attempt history, cross-references accuracy by chapter and question type, and names the three chapters where you are actually leaking marks is doing something a notebook cannot. What it will not do is fix them; a diagnosis without treatment is a more precise complaint. 4. Practice questions at the exact difficulty you need. Books come at fixed difficulty. Your weakness is specific: not "Thermodynamics" but second-law problems involving two-body systems with variable heat capacity. No book has three hundred of those. Generated practice solves a real matching problem — unlimited questions targeted at a named chapter, question type and difficulty, which is what deliberate practice requires and what a textbook exercise cannot provide. What it will not do is replace previous year questions, which carry information about examiner intent that no generated question has. PYQs first, always, for calibration and pattern; then generated questions for volume on whatever the PYQs exposed. Never the other way round. 5. Revision compression: cheat sheets and mind maps. Your fifth revision of a chapter should take ten minutes, not two hours, and that requires the chapter compressed to one page. Compression is slow work, and generating it on demand matters enormously in the final sixty days when you need to reconstruct Electrochemistry in your head between two mocks. What it will not do is beat your own handwritten notes for chapters you actually studied — writing the summary is part of the learning, reading someone else's is not. Write your own one-pager first, then compare it against a generated one and mark what you left out. The gap is your revision list. 6. Mock analysis, where most students quit. Everybody takes mocks; almost nobody analyses them properly, because proper analysis means three hours of classifying every wrong answer and it is tedious. Automated scoring with a chapter-and-difficulty breakdown removes the tedious half, which makes it far more likely you do the valuable half. An analysis you actually complete beats a better analysis you skip. What it will not do is tell you why you got a question wrong: only you know whether it was CONCEPT, APPLICATION, SILLY or TIME. Let the tool do the numbers and do the four-bucket classification by hand. 7. Rank and percentile mapping, for calibration. "I scored 198" means nothing on its own. Mapped to a percentile band and a rank range against historical data, it tells you whether your current trajectory reaches your target college. The value is not the number, it is the trend line, and specifically whether your rank is moving after two months of work or has plateaued while you felt busy. What it will not do is predict your actual rank: historical mapping is an estimate, cohort difficulty shifts year to year, and mock scores are systematically optimistic compared to the real exam. Watch the direction, not the value. 8. Spaced repetition scheduling. The five-touch system above means tracking roughly 90 chapters across five due dates each. That is 450 scheduled items, and maintaining it by hand is a chore that quietly collapses around November. Automating the queue means "what do I revise this morning" is already answered when you sit down. Small thing, compounded across 300 days. What it will not do is care whether you open it.
Five rules for using AI without damaging your preparation
- Struggle before you ask. Fixed personal minimum: ten minutes for a Main-level question, twenty for an Advanced-level one. Nothing degrades problem-solving ability faster than frictionless answers, because the friction was the training.
- Re-solve everything you were shown. Close it, wait a day, solve from a blank page. Reading a solution and understanding it produces the feeling of competence without the substance. This is the single most common way students with excellent tools score badly.
- Verify, especially in Maths and Physics. Cross-check against answer keys and standard textbooks. Confident-sounding wrong steps are a real failure mode of every AI system.
- AI for diagnosis and logistics, you for judgement. Let it schedule, score, compress and diagnose. You decide what to study, when to abandon a chapter, and what your error log actually means.
- NCERT and previous year papers are never optional. No amount of generated content replaces the official syllabus source or real examiner questions. Use AI to prepare around them, never instead of them.

A plan you do not measure is a wish. Every Sunday evening, ten minutes, write down five numbers.- Hours of focused study this week. Focused means phone in another room. Be honest — this number is diagnostic only if it is true.
- Chapters completed, and revisions due versus done. Coverage without revision is the most common way to reach January with a complete syllabus and no usable knowledge.
- Mock score, plus attempted and correct. Three numbers, not one. Score alone hides whether you improved by knowing more or by attempting more recklessly.
- Error log distribution. Count of CONCEPT, APPLICATION, SILLY and TIME entries this week. Watch the shape change over months. SILLY should fall steadily; if it does not, your process fix is not working and needs to be more mechanical.
- One thing to change next week. Exactly one. Not five. A single specific change, executed, beats a restructured life abandoned by Tuesday.
Part 5: the boring things that decide ranks
Sleep: seven hours, non-negotiable. Sleep is when your brain consolidates what you studied. Cutting it to add study hours trades the encoding for the input, which is a straightforwardly bad deal. Students who sleep seven to eight hours consistently outperform students who sleep five and study three hours more. This is not a wellness talking point, it is what the mechanism of memory formation implies. Shift your sleep to match your exam shift at least ten days before the exam. The phone. Your phone in the room reduces your effective study quality even when you do not touch it, because part of your attention is spent not touching it. Put it in another room during study blocks, use it during breaks deliberately, then put it back. No app or setting substitutes for physical distance. Exercise and food. Thirty minutes of movement a day: walk, cycle, skip, anything. It is not time lost, it is the reason hour eight is still productive. Eat at fixed times, because decision-free routine protects the cognitive capacity you need for problems. The bad week protocol. You will have weeks where nothing works. Everyone does. Do not attempt to make up the lost hours — you cannot, and trying produces a second bad week. Do not rebuild the entire plan either; slippage is normal, a redesign is avoidance. Restart with the smallest possible unit: one block, tomorrow morning, just the revision block, forty-five minutes. Comparison with other aspirants is mostly poison, with one exception: discussing a specific problem or strategy with someone at your level is genuinely useful. - Planning for a day you do not live. Fourteen-hour timetables fail in four days and cost you a week of confidence every time. Plan your real number and hold it.
- Treating revision as a phase instead of a habit. "I will revise in December" means arriving in December with 90 chapters and 31 days. Revision starts the day after you learn something.
- Studying by subject-day. Physics on Monday, Chemistry on Tuesday guarantees that one subject will be neglected for weeks. Touch all three every day.
- Not keeping an error log. Without classified errors you cannot tell a concept gap from a calculation slip, and the fixes for those two are opposites.
- Taking mocks but not analysing them. A mock is a measuring instrument. Taking measurements you never read is a hobby, not a strategy.
- Preparing for Advanced the way you prepared for Main. More speed on single-concept questions will not produce multi-concept reasoning or option-level certainty.
- Learning new chapters in the last sixty days. This is panic wearing the costume of hard work. The final phase is revision, previous year questions and mocks. Nothing else.
- Using AI to skip the struggle. Instant answers before genuine attempts will make you feel prepared and leave you unable to solve.
- Cutting sleep to add hours. You are trading consolidation for input. Ranks are lost here quietly, and the student never knows why the extra hours did not show up in scores.
- Restarting instead of resuming. After a bad week, the correct move is one small block tomorrow, not a brand-new colour-coded plan on Sunday night.
The routine on one page
The day. Four block types every day: LEARN, PRACTISE, REVISE, TEST. All three subjects touched daily, no exceptions. Hardest subject in your best hours. A real break between hard blocks. Ten minutes at night for the error log plus tomorrow's three lines. The week. Monday to Friday, rotate theory, practice and revision across the three subjects. Saturday: three timed chapter tests plus backlog clearance. Sunday: full 3-hour mock at exam timing, three hours of analysis, then rest. The revision schedule, per chapter from the day you finish it: day 1, day 7, day 21, day 60, and once in the final month. The uncomfortable truth about study plans is the same as the truth about book lists: the plan is the easy part. Every student who cleared JEE Advanced had roughly this plan, and so did most of the students who did not. What separated them was three things. They held a smaller number of honest hours instead of chasing a larger number of imaginary ones. They revised on a schedule rather than on a feeling. And they kept a written record of their own mistakes and actually read it. Everything else, including every tool in Part 3, is a way of making those three things easier to sustain. - How many hours a day should I study for JEE Main?
- Five focused hours is a realistic ceiling for a school-going Class 12 student and nine to ten for a dropper, once sleep, school, coaching and meals are subtracted honestly. Five hours held every day for three hundred days is 1,500 hours, which is enough to clear JEE Main with a strong percentile. Students rarely fail because five hours was too little; they fail because they averaged two and counted it as eight.
- How often should I revise a chapter for JEE?
- Five times, on a fixed schedule starting the day you finish the chapter: the next day for 15 minutes of formula recall, after 7 days redoing five marked problems, after 21 days as a timed 15-question set, after 60 days mixed with other chapters, and once in the final month from a one-page summary. Across roughly 90 chapters that works out to about 45 minutes of revision a day.
- How is JEE Advanced preparation different from JEE Main?
- Main is a speed and accuracy exam: 75 questions in 180 minutes, about 144 seconds each, mostly single-concept. Advanced is a reasoning and stamina exam: multi-concept questions that take eight to twelve minutes, partial marking that punishes half-knowledge, a pattern that changes every year, and two three-hour papers on the same day. The practice changes from twenty-five questions in ninety minutes to six or eight, with full written solutions and every option justified.
- When should I start taking full-length JEE mock tests?
- One full mock a week from the start of your final year, taken on a Sunday morning at the real exam time of day, in one sitting, without your phone or notes. Move to two a week in December. The analysis matters more than the attempt: three hours of honest analysis will move your score more than three more mocks.
- What should I write in a JEE error log?
- Four fields per wrong answer: the question or a short reference to it, the correct approach in one line, the date, and why it went wrong classified as exactly one of CONCEPT, APPLICATION, SILLY or TIME. The distribution across those four buckets is the diagnostic. For most students 30 to 40 percent of lost marks in JEE Main are SILLY errors rather than knowledge gaps, which is deficit you can recover without learning anything new.
- Do AI tools actually help with JEE preparation?
- They help with logistics and diagnosis, not with the work.
